Recycled Valentine Decorations

 A beautiful wreath
or a lot of junk?
What began as an old duvet cover that was going to
Good Will and an old broken grapevine
Valentine decoration….
…turned lovely!
I ripped up the duvet cover into long strips, cut them up and tied them around a wire wreath form…
Then I pulled the WELCOME hearts off the old, broken, grapevine Valentine decoration and wired them onto the wreath…
And what about the leftover grapevine?
I wrapped scrapes from the duvet and the bows from the original decoration around the grapevine sticks…
…dipped them in a coffee bath….
…and made some cute little bowl fillers….

Demijohn Love

Hello World is right, not sure what I’m doing on Word press but let’s give it a try…

Everyone else seems happy with it, let’s see what it can do…

A real old demijohn

I found this at a good old hometown multi-family garage sale…

I paid $5 for it. I know it’s worth much more, the problem is… it’s damaged.

The basket on the bottom and the back is broken…

I don’t know if it is worth anything but it looks darn good on top of my hutch!
